All classes welcome beginners. When there are enough students interested in a special subject or medium - beginners classes arranged. Autumn 2009 the following initiation/beginners classes will be arranged.
Abstract initiation class
This class is suitable for students who have not previously worked with abstract art. During the course, acrylics will be used (and supplied). It is suitable for all students - even those who have previously worked in other media.
Metal art:beginners class
The beginners class is suitable for those wishing to gain basic skills in welding and handling of metal. (more information)
Portrait drawing class
Starting on November 5th, there will be a portrait class that will run over 10 sessions every Thursday afternoon. Marina Kulik and Cathy van der Stel will use an unconventional teaching method that guarantees a sensational improvement in your drawing skills. The class will have a maximum of 8 attendees and the cost for all sessions including materials and models will be EUR 250,- (to be paid at the beginning of the class). Sculpture for beginners
For those who are new to plaster and ceramics this is a suitable introductory course.
Acrylics for beginners
At present there is no special beginners class in acrylics - but if you would like to learn this technique you are welcome to the Saturday class. Please contact Pim in advance.
