Pink Ribbon
Hangar Artists work for Pink Ribbon Art Calendar!
“Pink Ribbon” is a charity network that works to create awareness of breast cancer and provide support and guidance for patients, caregivers, providers, and all persons whose lives have been affected directly or indirectly by breast cancer.
12 artists and 12 women of the Dutch “Network Côte d’Orange” who modeled for them have worked to produce a beautiful, high quality A3 size calendar, printed on heavy satin paper. 9 of the participating artists have ties with the Hangar!! They are Marina Kulik, Christie Robinson, Fiona Biziou , Cathie van der Stel, Marina Teding van Berkhout, Sandra Seymour-Dale, Neville Moray, Wim Teunissen and Renée Richters… (the other artists are well-known Dutch painters Hanneke Gommers and Alex Lichtveld, and renowned English sculptor Sally Ducrow)
The calendars cost 25€ and ALL that money will go to the Pink Ribbon Association.
At the official presentation on March 26th, there will be an unveiling of the full paintings and sculptures. Until then, only the cover (with 12 breasts) will be available to the public
